Description
43 Pennan is a single-storey, three-bay cottage dating from the early to mid-19th century, with later additions. The cottage has a gable end facing the sea and features harled walls with contrasting painted reveals. The central entrance is obscured by a modern sunporch. On either side of the entrance, there are two later piended dormers that break the wallhead, and two ground floor windows are located in the seaward gable.
To the south, there is a substantial gabled addition that includes an additional entrance in the re-entrant angle. The windows have two-pane glazing. The cottage is topped with a slate roof and has coped end stacks.
