Description

Pennan Farm is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is a two-storey building with a raised basement and features three bays, situated on a site that slopes westwards. The exterior is finished in harled red rubble with tooled granite dressings and margins. The house faces east and has a bracketed ashlar canopy over the central door, which is located on a slightly raised ground floor. Gabled dormers are present in the outer bays, while a small recessed panel is located in the center. The rear of the house has a symmetrical arrangement of windows, including two stair windows in the center. The south gable has two windows, one of which is blind. The farmhouse has end stacks and a slate roof. The interior has been gutted and is in poor condition.
