Description
5 Pennan is a mid-19th century single storey and attic cottage featuring three bays and a gable end facing the sea, adjoining Nos 6 and 7. The exterior is rendered and lined to resemble ashlar, with self-coloured painted margins. The central entrance has a blind panel above it. There are two later piended wallhead dormers, along with a single ground and attic window in the seaward gable, both with 2-pane glazing. The cottage has coped end stacks and a slate roof. At the rear, there is a two-storey wide single bay wing that has an enlarged window on the seaward elevation with modern glazing. A secondary entrance is located in the rear re-entrant angle, which also has a slate roof.
