Description

The Fraser Mausoleum, located in the Old Churchyard of Cluny, was designed by James Byres of Tonley and dated 1808. This Roman neo-classical structure is circular and constructed from ashlar granite. It features a moulded base set on a low square podium, and an architraved doorpiece adorned with a wrought iron grille. Above the entrance, there is a finely detailed swagged coat of arms. The mausoleum is topped with a dome that includes an oculus.
