Description

Early 19th century. Single storey, 3-bay vernacular cottage with original openings. Whitewash/thin render over rubble and slate stone cills.

NW (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION:

Boarded timber door to centre with small widely-spaced deep-set windows in flanking bays.

SW ELEVATION: plain gabled elevation

SE (REAR) ELEVATION: tiny deep-set window close to eaves at outer left.

NE ELEVATION: blank gabled elevation, possible evidence of blocked window high up to right.

4-pane glazing pattern in timber casement (?) windows. Corrugated-iron over thatch (See Notes). Coped brick gablehead stacks

INTERIOR: timber-lined walls and fireplace.
