Description
The remains of a former mansion house stand alongside a large, L-shaped walled garden. The mansion house dates to an unknown period and is constructed of pinned boulder rubble with irregular window placement. A pend, or gateway, is present at the north end, built up now, but featuring a moulded segmental arch on the west side. The south gable is crowstepped, with coped chimneys. A remnant of an oven is visible, and it was repaired in 1952, when a new window was also inserted. The walled garden includes a hemicycle entrance feature with plain piers topped with rubble pyramids. Part of the steading, which may be old or contain reused materials, is also present.
