Description

The steading, likely dating from around 1825, is a simple U-shaped rubble structure of single-story height. It originally comprised two cart bays with flat-headed openings, and included a vestigial winnowing floor. The roof is covered with graded Foudland slate. A new door has been added to the west side elevation. The steading forms a group with the Manse and stands close to the older Manse of Forgue, to which it formerly belonged.
