Description

The churchyard surrounding Forgue Church contains a noteworthy collection of 18th and 19th century monuments. These include two particularly similar tabletombs, one commemorating Shand (dated 1741) and the other Thomson (dated 1767). A sundial with baluster detailing is dated 1801. A burial enclosure featuring sculpted details is recorded as dating from 1674 or 1675.
