Description
Forgue Manse dates to 1830, although it incorporates an earlier 18th-century manse on its northern side. The building consists of two parallel, two-storey blocks with a narrow, piend-roofed section connecting them. The exterior is harled with painted margins. The front entrance is at the gable ends, featuring a square-headed doorpiece topped with a rectangular fanlight and a tripartite window above. The southern front has two windows, while the original front on the north side features chamfered openings. A single-storey and attic wing extends from the northeast. A walled garden is also present. Minor alterations were carried out in 1887 by J. Duncan. The manse is no longer in use as such; it was enlarged in the same style as Inverkeithing Monquhitter Manse during the same year.
