Description

Dated 1783 when earlier fragments reconstituted in present

form. Granite cross incorporating small carved plaque at apex

and inscribed narrow slabs as arms mounted on square tooled

granite plinth. Large inscribed slate plaques mounted in N

and S face faces of plinth which has stepped and harled base.

Cross and plinth mounted on circular crenellated platform

approached by flight of steps.
