Description
St Andrew's Church, located on High Street in Inverurie, was designed by John Smith and built between 1841 and 1842. The interior was altered in 1875 and has been modified again recently, with a west sanctuary added. The church features a Neo-Perpendicular style, consisting of a four-bay aisleless rectangular structure made of rough granite ashlar with polished dressings. The east front has a three-bay gable that includes a door, a three-light window, and a clock above. It is topped with a spired bellcote and has both square and octagonal pinnacles.
