Description

New Deer Parish Church was built by John Smith between 1839 and 1841, with the tower completed in 1865. The church is designed in the Neo-Perpendicular style and constructed from squared granite featuring wood tracery. It has a rectangular layout with four bays, angle buttresses, and pinnacles. The tower is also pinnacled and battlemented, supported by diagonal buttresses. Inside, there is a U-plan gallery resting on octagonal columns, original pews, and a pulpit that originated from the Free Church.
