Description
The bridge to the south of Brucklay Castle, likely built in the late 19th century to early 20th century, consists of two small segmental-arched bridges over the South Ugie Water. Each bridge features a concrete walkway and ironwork parapets.
The western bridge is a road bridge that includes decorative cast-iron cross-braced parapets with floral discs at the intersections, along with a moulded outer baluster and a scrolled handrail.
The southern bridge serves as a footbridge and is designed with ironwork balusters that alternate between straight and serpentine styles, featuring moulded end braces and finialled posts.
