Description
East Lodge at Brucklay Castle was likely designed by James Matthews around 1860. This baronial building is harled with ashlar dressings and has two storeys, featuring gableted dormer heads at some of the first-floor windows. It includes a circular angle tower topped with a fish scale slated conical roof. The entrance is marked by square gatepiers with bracketed pyramidal tops, and there are dwarf walls made of ashlar with balustrades.
