Description

The Stable Block at Brucklay Castle was likely designed by John Smith around 1820 and features a Gothick style. It has a low two-storey west front with a squat central tower topped by a pyramid roof. There are three windows on each side, constructed from squared granite with cherry cocking on the west and south sides, while the rest of the building is made from rubble. The corner bays include blocking courses with circular designs above shallow buttresses.
