Description
St Andrew's Cottage, located on Glebe Road in Inverurie, was designed by Mackenzie and Matthews in 1854 and represents a severe late Georgian style. The cottage is two stories high with an attic and features a three-window south front that is harled. It includes an eaves belt course, two original canted dormers, and a simple porch that has a frieze cornice and a blocking course with a central panel. At the rear, there is a single-storey and attic wing with pedimented dormers on the east side, constructed from granite rubble, along with extensive office spaces.
