Description

The Bridge over the Burn of Melrose at the Mill of Melrose is a tall single-span bridge built in the later 18th century. It features a single arch ring made of tooled rubble, which springs from natural rock abutments. The bridge has tooled rubble dressings and copes on a low parapet, with splayed approaches. The span of the bridge is approximately 22 feet.
