Description

Dated 1874. Single storey and attic, 3-bay cottage. Pink, dark grey and light grey granite ashlar E elevation with finely finished margins, granite rubble to remaining elevations. Base course; pink granite lintel course; eaves course.

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical; doorway to centre bay of ground floor, replacement panelled timber door with letterbox fanlight, windows to flanking bays to left and right; small gableted dormer to centre of attic floor, flanked to left and right by canted dormers, all with decorative timber cornices, pair of small lead lucarnes below ridge.

N ELEVATION: gabled; window to centre of ground floor.

W ELEVATION: not seen 2001.

S ELEVATION: gabled.

Timber sash and case windows, 8-pane lying-pane windows to ground floor. Grey slate roof with scalloped lead ridge. Stone skews with blocked skewputts. Coped polychrome granite gablehead stacks with circular and octagonal cans. Cast-iron rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen 2001.

BOUNDARY WALL: low coped rubble walls to E; rubble walls with brick coping to remainder.
