Description

Earlier 19th century; later additions and alterations. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay house. Granite rubble with finely finished pink granite dressings. Long and short quoins.

SE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical; doorway to centre bay of ground floor, 2-leaf panelled timber door, with 2-pane fanlight; later 3-light canted windows to ground floor of bays to left and right. Regular fenestration to 1st floor. Modern rooflight to centre bay of attic floor, canted dormers flanking to left and right.

NE ELEVATION: asymmetrical; 2-bay; window to left of ground floor; regular fenestration to 1st floor. Service wing adjoining to outer right, near-regular fenestration.

NW ELEVATION: not seen 2001.

SW ELEVATION: predominantly blank; 2-storey wing adjoining to outer left.

Variety of timber sash and case windows. Modern piended slate roof with tiled ridges. Coped rubble wallhead stacks with octagonal cans. Cast-iron rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen 2001.

BOUNDARY WALLS: iron gate to SE, flanked to left and right by grey granite boundary walls.
