133-135 King Street, Aberdeen

137-141 King Street in Aberdeen is a three-storey and attic, six-bay Classical tenement building, designed by John Smith in 1828. It features commercial premises on the ground floor and is situated on a corner site. The building is constructed from grey granite ashlar, which is channelled at the ground level of numbers 133-139. There is a band course above the ground floor.

The ground floor of numbers 133-139 has segmental arched openings, while numbers 139-141 have round-arched openings. The entrances consist of six-panel timber doors with narrow pilastered jambs and fanlights above. The south elevation, facing Mealmarket Street, has blind upper storey windows. The building also features piended dormers.

The predominant windows in numbers 139-141 are 12-pane timber sash and case windows, while the other numbers exhibit a variety of window styles, including tilt and turn and top-opening windows. The roof is covered with grey slate, and there are gable stacks.
