(Former) St Peter's Roman Catholic School, 62, 64, 84, 86 Constitution Street, Aberdeen

The former St Peter's Roman Catholic School, located at 62, 64, 84, and 86 Constitution Street in Aberdeen, dates back to 1833. This building is a double-height, two-storey structure designed in a classical Palladian style, arranged in a U-shape. It underwent significant renovations and additions in the 1990s. The central section features a five-bay pediment, with side wings that include flat-roofed entrance porches supported by Doric columns. The advanced pedimented three-bay wings are set at right angles, completing the U-plan. The exterior is constructed of coursed grey granite with fine margins, and includes a cill course on the side wings, broad eaves, and an eaves course. The central section has tall, round-arched openings, while the ground floor features segmental-arched windows. A Latin inscription can be found at the central frieze. There is a late 20th-century extension to the west.

The front elevation predominantly has multi and four-pane replacement timber sash and case windows, with some replacement casement windows in the central section. The roof is covered with grey slate and features gable and ridge stacks.

Inside, there are no original elements remaining as the interior was comprehensively modernised in 2006.

The boundary wall consists of a low, coped rubble granite wall with railings to the north, complemented by two sets of square-plan coped gate piers.
