Description

Later 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 5-bay commercial and domestic building with Classical detailing including distinctive pilastered ground floor shop front. Principal (E) elevation with stugged granite ashlar, polished ashlar base course, deeply projecting cornice. 6-bay fixed-pane plate glass windows to shop. 2-leaf door to far left bay with glass fan-light above; entrance to No 22 at 4th bay with glazed margins. Tall openings to 1st floor with narrow aprons. 3 segmental arched dormers; pair of pedimented dormers to rear.

Multi-pane margined timber sash and case windows; grey slate; mansard roof; ashlar skews and skewputts; cast-iron rainwater goods.
