Description

Later 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay commercial building on prominent corner site with gable swept over broad curved SE corner bay; later shopfront to ground. Picked granite ashlar with band course returning to eaves level. E elevation with pair of bipartite windows at 1st floor; Corinthianesque columned stone mullions and chamfered arrises. Wide opening to left, altered with single fixed-pane curved glazing, returns to 3 single window bays at S elevation; Single, small attic window to broad gable end above.

Non traditional fixed-pane windows with large curved single-pane to corner bay. 5-pane timber sash and case attic window to gable end. Grey slate to roof with pair of canted, tripartite piended-roof dormers to E pitch. Ashlar skews; broad gable end stack; clay cans.
