12A-13 Correction Wynd, Aberdeen

15 Correction Wynd in Aberdeen is a residential and commercial building from the later 18th century. It stands three stories high and has six bays, with shops located on the ground floor that are separated by a central passageway. The building is constructed from neatly squared and coursed granite rubble, accented with sandstone dressings. Above the passageway, there is a large segmental-arched opening that has been infilled with a single window. The shopfronts at the fifth and sixth bays feature a timber fascia, panelled stall risers, fixed-pane glazing, and a corniced frieze that is flanked by panelled die blocks. A cast-iron gate provides access to the passageway.

The upper floors are adorned with 12-pane timber sash and case windows, while the ground floor shops on the left have non-traditional glazing. The roof is steeply pitched and slated, with large Velux windows that have replaced the original tripartite, canted dormers. A red brick ridge stack and cast-iron rainwater goods complete the building's features.
