11 Correction Wynd, Aberdeen

11 Correction Wynd in Aberdeen is a later 18th century, three-storey and attic, three-bay tenement featuring a central nepus gable and a broad wallhead stack. The ground floor has a shop frontage dating from around 1880. The building is constructed from neatly squared and coursed granite rubble. The shopfront occupies the first and second bays and consists of a timber fascia with a central doorway, panelled stallrisers, and plate glass windows that are multi-pane astragalled in the upper part. It is flanked by ribbed timber consoles and has polished ashlar surrounds at the ground floor. The third bay includes a pend opening with chamfered corners and a double-leaf cast-iron gate. At the rear of the building, there is a central canted tripartite oriel window on the first floor.

The upper floors predominantly feature 12-pane timber sash and case windows. The roof is slate-pitched, with skews and moulded ashlar skewputts, and the building includes cast-iron rainwater goods.
