Description

Mud Harbour, located on Union Street in Bo'Ness, was rebuilt by Thomas Meik & Son between 1878 and 1881. It is a small tidal harbour and wet dock featuring a straight rubble west pier and an L-plan concrete east pier that encloses a rectangular harbour. At the southern end of the east pier, there is a disused lock entrance that leads to a concrete-walled dock.
