Dwelling, N of 41 Foughilletra Road, Jonesborough, Newry, Co Armagh, BT35 8SH

A single-storey, two bay vernacular dwelling with outbuildings to left gable; aligned SW-NE on the W side of Foughilletra Road. Pitched corrugated metal roof with concrete skews and a brick chimney to each gable (that to right has collapsed). No rainwater goods. Walls are lime-rendered rubble stone. Principal elevation faces SE. Right bay has a windbreak porch set to left with flat brick and cement coped roof - front face contains a t+g sheeted door and right and left cheeks are blank. To either side is a partially collapsed 2/2 exposed-box sliding sash window – both with cement rendered brick cills. Left gable is completely abutted by a single-storey outbuilding on far gable of which is another such outbuilding. Both are unrendered rubble stone. That to right has a pitched natural slate roof (spaced slates). There is a t+g sheeted door to left and an infilled window opening to rear. The building to left has a pitched corrugated metal roof and a single door opening at right. Rear elevation and right gable of main house are blank. Setting: Site is set back from the road and reached by a short lane with rubble stone boundary walls. Accessed by a modern metal gate supported on one-piece granite piers.
