Description

This is a single-storey, four-bay pitched roof cottage located on Kidds Road, Glasdrummond, near Newry, County Down. The building was surveyed during initial heritage assessments but was not formally listed, with only a partial record taken due to significant alterations and loss of original fabric. It features a projecting gabled porch to the front, a natural slate roof with two red brick chimneys at the ridge – these chimneys have saw tooth corbel courses and buff clay pots – and uPVC windows and run-out glazed windows. A single-storey flat-roofed section extends from the rear return. The building is currently in use as a house, but it does not possess sufficient architectural or historical interest to warrant formal listing.
