Description

Two storey (+ attic), three-bay house at end of terrace on west side of Bagot Street. Pitched natural slate roof, and rendered chimney (with projecting cap) at left. Half-round gutters with downpipe at right on front elevation. Walls painted and lined on smooth render. Modern stained four-panel timber front door, with plain transom above. To its right, at right end of street elevation is a t+g sheeted door (again with transom) into rear yard (via passage under first floor room). To left of front door is a 1/1 sliding sash window. Three 1/1 sash windows at first floor, in line with ground floor openings, but diminished in height. Rendered yard wall continues to right of yard door. The ground floor window and the one above are wider than normal sashes, and also wider that the other houses in this terrace, indicating a later modification. The right two windows at top are much narrower than one would normally expect, but although their cills are concrete, their widths are the same as the other houses, and are therefore unaltered in this respect. Left gable shares party wall with no.3 Bagot St. Right gable is abutted towards rear by one storey return of no. 6 Sandys St. Small 1/1 sash (without cill) to attic towards left of gable. No access to rear façade.
