A two-storey, two-bay farmhouse was constructed between 1820 and 1839 and is set back from the road facing east. The building is accompanied by a smaller, one-storey, one-bay building that abuts the farmhouse’s left gable. The farmhouse has a natural slate gable roof and a central rendered chimney. The walls are rendered with cement. The front door, located at the left end of the facade, is sheeted with metal. There are two window openings on the ground floor and two above, however only one window remains complete and unboarded, situated on the first floor left side; this is a 1/1 sliding sash window with margin panes. No windows are present on the rear or gable elevations. The adjoining building has a coped corrugated metal gable roof, a chimney on its left gable, and a single metal-framed window to the right of the door on its facade. A building is shown on an Ordnance Survey map from 1834. The farmhouse’s outward appearance has been altered, and while its former use was as a house and it is currently used as a house, it is not listed. The property is privately owned and was once recorded as derelict. The temporal relationship between the two buildings is unclear, with the smaller building likely being a later addition or a substantial refurbishment of an existing outbuilding.
