Description

Rubble built, single span hump-backed bridge of probable pre 1834 construction. The bridge carries the School Road over the Moneycarragh River and is located roughly 2.5 miles W of the village of Clough. It crosses the river at a right angle. The bridge is in rubble fieldstone and has a very pronounced hump. The arch is roughly elliptical. The parapets have concrete copings.
