Description

A two-storey/ two-bay house and one storey/ one-bay annexe abutting its left elevation, set back on the west side of Tullyframe Road. 1. Main block; Pitched natural slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles and cement coped verges. Two chimneys, one to each gable, and both cement rendered with projecting caps. Semicircular cast iron rainwater goods. Walls are lime rendered and whitewashed. Principal façade faces south east. Entrance is just left of centre. Painted partly glazed door set within a rendered porch with flat roof and stepped blocking course over door. All windows have horns, black painted granite cills and black painted reveals. To left of door is a 3/3 sliding sash window and to right is a 1/1 sliding sash. First floor has two windows in line with those below, but diminished in height. That to left is 3/2 sliding sash and that to right is 2/1 sliding sash. Exposed left gable above annexe is smooth unpainted cement render. Rear elevation of main building is rendered random rubble and partly painted. Left half of wall abutted by a two-storey concrete block lean-to with monopitch corrugated iron roof. At first floor right is a 2/2 sliding sash window with exposed boxes and horns. Wall otherwise blank. Right gable blank. 2. Annexe Roof as main block but with verge tiles. Chimney at right partly obscured by the gable of two-storey block. Wall to front elevation is rendered and whitewashed. One 3/3 sliding sash window to front elevation at right of centre (no horns). Left gable of unrendered squared granite rubble blocks. Entrance to right towards front pitch painted t+g sheeted door with cement-rendered surround and lintel. Rear elevation of abutment contains a modern timber two-pane window with cement surround. Mature garden to front of the property enclosed by hedges. Two one storey joined outhouses to rear parallel with the house. These have pitched natural slate roofs and are constructed from granite blockwork.
