Single-storey/ two-bay vernacular house, high on south-facing slope of Knockshee. Pitched natural slate roof with brick verges and a single red brick chimney to centre. No rainwater goods. Walls are random rubble, partially dashed. The left corner of façade has a large boulder at ground level forming a base stone. Main elevation faces south. Shallow monopitched porch at right contains painted t+g half-door. Small 2/2 sliding sash window to each bay. Right gable is abutted by a modern extension and left gable forms the party wall with a now ruined adjoining building. Rear elevation has two small windows, one to each bay. That to left is 1/1 sliding sash and that to right is a modern top-hung casement. The extension is a modern timber structure with external posts and rafters supporting an inner skin of corrugated plastic sheeting. To rear and left are the ruins of two similar houses.
