Description

Terrace of nine two and half storey Edwardian houses with decorative bargeboards to dormers and gardens to front. Roofs are pitched and slated, with terracotta ridges; dormer gables to façade. Cement render chimneys, each with overhanging string course and coping, and raised stack to left of façade. Cast iron rainwater goods with cyma recta moulding, embossed with floral motifs, on bracketed rendered eaves. Façades are of cement rendered brick lined like ashlar. All openings have chamfered reveals and are segmentally headed (excepting dormers). Door is typically four panelled with transom light above. All windows 1/1 sliding sash. Two storey canted window bay to left of door, with continuous cill course at first floor level and parapeted flat roof. Window above door at first floor level. Gabled dormer (above bay window) with pair of semicircular headed windows, with fretted timber bargeboard above. The facades of all but two of the buildings (nos. 29 and 33) have been altered to some extent (ie replacement windows and/or doors)
