A pair of single storey, six-bay, direct entry houses with remains of thatch under corrugated iron roofing. The houses occupy a roadside position facing south-west behind small gardens bounded at the front by low walling Each kitchen hearth is served by a rendered corbelled chimneystack. That on the left rises from the gable and the other is placed centrally to serve the right-hand house. At the left-hand (north-west) side the corrugated iron covering terminates in a concrete parapet and is finished flush over the gable on the opposite side. The eaves of the roof of the right-hand house terminate at the front by means of a canted fascia board. The wall construction is of rubble stone roughly plastered and whitened on the front elevation. The stonework is exposed at the sides and at the rear. Each house has a central doorway flanked on either side by a metal-framed casement window made up of two sections of three vertical panes. The door of the left-hand (north-west) house is missing and the door of the right-hand house is ledged, braced and timber sheeted.
