This is a two-storey whitewashed building situated fronting the main road in an elevated position overlooking Mill Bay in Larne Lough, within the townland of Carnspindle. Constructed between 1840 and 1859, it appears on an Ordnance Survey map of 1857. The building has been extensively extended and modernised, retaining no original external features and therefore exhibiting no evident architectural interest. It is currently used as a public house, having formerly served the same purpose. It is privately owned and is designated as a Record Only building, meaning that it possesses no special historic or architectural merit.
