This building was a thatched house located on Browns Bay Road in the townland of Ballyprior More, near Islandmagee, Larne, County Antrim. It was likely constructed between 1820 and 1839 and appeared on an Ordnance Survey map from 1832. The building was described in a 1970 survey as a one-and-a-half storey building, partially thatched, although it was noted that modernization had negatively affected its appearance and that it was in poor condition. It was initially listed in 1979 but was subsequently delisted on 21 July 1995 following its demolition around 1994, when a new dwelling was built nearby. The building’s architectural style was vernacular.
