Description
The building at 21 Carnduff Road, Glynn, Larne, is a two-storey gabled house dating from approximately 1820 to 1839. It appears on an Ordnance Survey map of 1832. Originally a house, it is now used as outbuildings and is in semi-derelict condition without chimneys. It formerly had timber sliding sash windows. The house stands within a farmyard to the rear of a modern bungalow. In 1970, it was part of a group of buildings, including cottages, which originally formed a ‘good group’. The cottages were on the opposite side of the road and have since been demolished. By 1970, the house had been abandoned to accommodate a nearby bungalow.
