Description
This is a war memorial of local interest and a prominent landmark in the village of Glynn. Constructed between 1920 and 1939, it stands in the middle of the village, at the intersection of roads. The memorial takes the form of an obelisk set atop a high, square pedestal with a stepped base, all built from dressed granite. It is surrounded by a low plinth wall. The memorial commemorates the men of Glynn, Magheramorne and Raloo who died in the First World War. An inscription is present on the memorial. It is owned by the local government.
