Description

A limestone and basalt rubble structure on a rectangular plan, built into a bank in a field, with a two-centred arch to the front opening which splays inwards and contains a similar recessed arch. The top is grassed and there is a charging hole but it has been partially closed over with wooden boards and the area fenced off with barbed wire. It stands on its own in a rural location in a field bordering Portmuck Road partly surrounded by trees but very easily viewed from the roadway.
