1 Mulkeeragh Road, Dungiven, Co Londonderry

A 1½ storey derelict house, gabled, large natural slates, harled externally, chimney on each gable. The entrance front has a central doorway with rectangular fanlight with geometric arrangement of astragals. Door missing. Single window on either side with contemporary casements, glass missing. Harling is falling off and exposing stone built walls under with large rough corner stones and brick trim to windows and doors. Gutter and downpipes missing. Many slates missing on roof. Chimney stacks disintegrating. Each gable has 2 sliding sash windows lighting the attic rooms. Sash boxes exposed, glass missing. Wall harling in similar condition as front. Rear elevation has similar arrangement of door and windows. The building is sited on the south side of Mulkeeragh Road and set back about 10 metres from it. There is neither gates nor pillars nor boundary walls and the ground front and rear is a sea of mud. There are no outbuildings.
