A 1½ storey detached house, gabled, central chimney stack, asbestos slated, roof pedimented over central entrance door, roughcast rendered, with small conservatory return to rear. The entrance front has central sheeted door with rendered piers on either side and over a lean to open porch roof supported on gallows brackets. On each side of entrance door segmental headed single windows in PVC sliding sash 12 pane. Over the entrance door a smaller sliding sash window 2 pane positioned in the pediment. The cill of this window is in line with the gutter on each side of pediment. The pediment has plain timber barges and there is no overhang on either side. Each gable is similar with double sliding sash PVC 12 pane windows centrally placed. At first floor in the gable two single sliding sash PVC 12 pane windows of equal size to those on the entrance façade. Plain wood bargeboard small slit ventilation to roofspace. The rear façade has a single 4 pane sliding sash window close to a small glass conservatory at the N W corner. There is a door from the house to it. The roof has asbestos slates with small rendered central chimney with 2 pots. The former teacher’s house is sited close to the verg of Ballyquin Road, west side and the former Drumneechy school is immediately to the north. The small front garden has a low rendered boundary wall with gate piers. To the south of the house a small garage of later vintage.
