This is a late 19th century farmhouse, likely recorded in 1970 for its original architectural detail and its contribution to the surrounding landscape, although it now has limited architectural value.

The farmhouse is a substantially renovated two-storey, three-bay building facing north across Lough Foyle. A pitched roof glazed porch has been added centrally to the facade and is flanked by timber casement windows. The roof is tiled with overhanging barges, and chimneys are located at the gables. The exterior is finished with roughcast render, painted white. A concrete brick wall curves back from the road to the entrance drive.

Originally described in 1970, the house featured harled and colour-washed walls, a slated roof, and windows with a double-hung sash design; the upper floor windows had three panes, while the ground floor windows had four. The entrance was topped by a rectangular fanlight with two panes. Ordnance Survey maps from 1830 and 1855 show earlier houses and barns closer to the road than the current building, which are shown on the 1963 map but were demolished by 1970. The current building first appears on the 1907 Ordnance Survey map. A major renovation, likely in the late 1980s, has resulted in significant changes to the property, giving it the appearance of a new dwelling. However, a slide in the Historic Buildings record from 1970 depicts a building of the same form on the site.
