Description

The Old House was a former two-storey, three-bay house dating from the early nineteenth century. It had a slated roof and plastered walls. The ground floor featured tripartite windows on either side of a panelled front door, with horizontal glazing bars to all windows. The First Survey card indicates construction around 1800. An extension to the south was present on an Ordnance Survey map from 1861; it was absent from the 1833 Ordnance Survey map. The property was visited on 11th September 1969. The building has since been demolished and replaced with a modern structure. It is not listed for its architectural or historical interest, and the listing is recorded as a partial survey only.
