Victoria School, Victoria Road, Ballyhalbert, Newtownards, Co. Down, BT22 1DQ

The site represents the location of a former schoolhouse, originally constructed between 1880 and 1899, and demolished in 1988. A new school building now occupies the site, opened in 1989. The original schoolhouse was a single storey, T-shaped building with a lean-to addition to the rear. It had a slated roof with gabled ends, including a gabled projection to the front. Decorative bargeboards and projecting eaves were present, along with a yellow brick chimney. The walls were rendered, lined, and painted, featuring a bevelled base. Each side bay contained two double-hung windows with vertical astragals and a label moulding over the lintel. The central gable included an inscription panel in a tympanum and a central window with a semi-circular arch head and horizontal astragals. Flanking this window were smaller curved recesses with semi-circular arch heads, all with triple archivolts over the sills. A sheeted entrance door was located on the left-hand side of the projection, and a plywood panel door on the right-hand side. The front of the building extended approximately 58 feet.
