Description
This is a war memorial situated at Redburn Square, near the town centre of Holywood, County Down. It comprises a bronze statue depicting a soldier carrying a rifle and bayonet, standing upon a Portland stone pedestal and a rock-faced masonry base. Inset bronze plaques commemorate those who served in World War I. The memorial is not considered to be among the finest examples of its type.
