3, 4, 5, 6 Hibernia Street, Holywood, County Down

The buildings at 3, 4, 5, and 6 Hibernia Street, Holywood, County Down, have been demolished and replaced by a modern shopping complex. The original buildings were a terrace of four houses, likely dating to the later 19th century. They featured a slated roof, rendered gable ends, and rendered and lined walls painted in a light colour. The ground floor had a window, followed by a door, then another window, another door, another window, another door, another window, and finally another door, with windows corresponding on the upper floors. The windows featured horizontal astrays, with some being modern replacements. The doorways were distinguished by pilaster jambs, a frieze lintel, and a cornice hood, all crafted in painted stone. The doors themselves were a mix of panelled, glazed and panelled, and flush panel designs. A low front boundary wall complemented the facade. The buildings were noted as being in fair condition at the time of a survey in 1973, with a frontage of approximately 82 feet. The buildings are not listed, and hold no architectural or historical significance.
