This is a two-storey farmhouse likely dating to the early 19th century, though it has been significantly modernised and extended, and now appears quite different from its original form. It is situated at the end of a lane off Movilla Road, approximately 2.5 miles east of Newtownards.

The house is a modern-looking gabled building. The front (north) facade features a centrally positioned glazed entrance, sheltered by a flat-roofed porch with glazing extending upwards on all sides. To the left of the entrance are two modern, two-pane timber windows with smaller opening lights above. A similar window is located to the right of the porch, with four more of the same style on the first floor. The west gable has a window on the ground floor to the right and one to the left on the first floor. The east gable is blank. The rear of the building is largely dominated by a large, full-height, flat-roofed extension, featuring modern windows and doors on both the extension and the main house. The exterior is finished with a ‘salt & pepper’ dry dash render, over a plain rendered recessed base. The pitched roof is covered in pan tiles and has four concrete brick chimney stacks, with PVC rainwater goods.

A building is depicted on this site on an Ordnance Survey map from 1834. In 1982, the house underwent extensive renovations, including increasing the height of the first-floor window openings, reducing the height of the ground floor windows, adding a rear extension, replacing the window frames with modern ones, and applying the ‘salt & pepper’ render to the facade. Historical records from 1835 and 1861, along with Ordnance Survey maps from 1834 and 1860, corroborate this history.
