This is a single-storey, semi-detached vernacular house located on the north-eastern side of Church Street, Greyabbey. It likely dates from before 1834, with a possible construction period between 1820 and 1839. The house is rough cast and has a pitched roof covered in concrete pantiles. A Velux window is visible in the roof of the rear return, along with a small rendered chimney stack. The main house has two small rendered chimney stacks. The front (south-western) elevation is asymmetrical, featuring a plain timber front door positioned to the left of centre, with a sash window containing Georgian panes to the immediate left and a similar window to the far right. The north-western gable is blank. A large, single-storey, 'L' shaped return to the rear includes PVC windows designed to resemble the timber sash windows on the front facade.

Buildings are depicted on an Ordnance Survey map of 1834 on this site, although it is unclear if they correspond exactly with the current houses. While they may date from the early nineteenth century, their proportions are typical of ‘ground floor’ houses described in the Ordnance Survey Memoirs of circa 1835. The architectural interest of the building stems from its proportions, although later alterations detract from its original character. The setting and group value of the property are also noteworthy.
