This is a single-story, semi-detached vernacular house located on the northeastern side of Church Street in Greyabbey, Newtownards. It was likely constructed before 1834, with a possible date range of 1820 to 1839. The house is finished with unpainted roughcast render and has a concrete pan tile roof. It features two small rendered chimney stacks rising from the main roof. The front (southwestern) elevation is asymmetrical, with a door positioned to the far left and two widely spaced sash windows with Georgian panes to the right. The southeastern gable is blank. A gabled return exists at the rear, featuring modern timber windows designed to resemble sash windows. A low, partly rendered rubble wall sits in front of the houses.

Buildings are depicted on an Ordnance Survey map of 1834 on this general site, but it is challenging to confirm if they correspond precisely to the current houses’ location. While a date from the early nineteenth century is possible, certainty is lacking. The building shares characteristics with a group of "ground floor" houses described in the Ordnance Survey Memoirs of circa 1835.

The house possesses architectural interest due to its proportions, although later alterations have somewhat diminished its original character. Its setting also contributes to its overall interest. The property also has group value, relating to other buildings in the vicinity. It holds local historical interest.
